Yasser Al Qahtani – The Middle East’s Football “Sniper”

Yasser Al Qahtani is a former Saudi football player, most notably the striker and captain of the professional Saudi football club, Al-Hilal FC. Al Qahtani started his professional career playing for Al-Qadisiyah before transferring to Al-Hilal, where he played until his formal retirement in 2018. Yasser Al Qahtani is best known for his speed and agility; nicknamed 'The Sniper', he has demonstrated excellent ability in scoring goals and was recognised as top scorer of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup. During one season in 2011, Al Qahtani played for the UAE football club, Al Ain and scored twelve goals in all 26 matches carried out, which helped the team achieve their first League title since 2004.
