The gifted professional footballer, Mohamed Salah awarded a Dubai Star

Born in in Nagrig, Gharbia, Egypt, football remained his priority all through his childhood and teenage days. Mohamed Salah realised his dream to be a well-known player in the football world with his first match. He managed to enter the national team as the youngest player at the age of nineteen, marking a debut for his home country Egypt in September 2011. Salah has been honoured with several awards and accolades including CAF Most Promising Talent of the Year in 2012 and CAF Africa’s finest XI in 2017 and 2018. Recognised as a global phenomenon, Salah, in his home has set-up Mo Salah’s Charity Foundation that helps the poor with funds to support the villagers who are less privileged with the provision of foodstuffs and to provide the first ambulance unit in their town.
