Shah Rukh Khan: The King of Bollywood

Shah Rukh Khan's acting career took off with the TV series Fauji in 1989 which won the audience's hearts and made a remarkable impression. He then decided to act in films and moved from Delhi to Mumbai in 1991. In 1995, he starred in the famous Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge which became the longest-running film in the history of Indian cinema, completing a 23-year run at Maratha Mandir in Mumbai. Khan is also co-chairman of the motion picture production company Red Chillies Entertainment, and keeps the sportsman in him alive, being the co-owner of the Indian Premier League cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders. He was also honoured with the World Economic Forum's Crystal Award in 2018 for actively supporting women's and children's rights in India.
