21 Jan 2020

French footballer, Paul Pogba, showed a natural affinity for the game from a young age, and began playing for the youth football club, Roissy-en-Brie when he was six years old. At 14, Pogba had started his professional career at the French football club, Le Havre, and participated in the under-16 domestic league. The young player's raw talent soon caught international attention, which prompted his transfer to the youth division of globally recognised English football club, Manchester United, in 2009. After two years, Pogba chose to depart from the club to join Juventus, where he played a significant role in the club's Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana and Series A wins. During this time, he acted as captain during the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which his team (France) won. Pogba's exemplary performances in Italy scored him a new contract with Manchester United in 2016, for whom he is still currently playing.
