Brazilian Record-Making Formula One driver, Ayton Senna, Awarded a Dubai Star

Ayrton Senna was a Brazilian race car driver, who reached the height of success in the 1990s. Senna took part in his first Formula One race in 1984 with Toleman-Hart, which he then traded for Lotus-Renault. In this time, Senna won six Grand Prix over three seasons and began to capture the attention of competing brands. Eventually, Senna signed with McLaren, whom he represented at the 1989 World Championship. The legendary race car driver was declared the winner, a title he took home for the consecutive two World Championships in 1990 and 1991, as well. Ayrton Senna passed away due to a manufacturing failure in his race car on the 1st of May 1994, during the San Marino Grand Prix in Bologna, Italy.
