Bahraini-Saudi Music Mogul, Rashed Al-Majed, is Awarded a Dubai Star

Rashed Al-Majed was born in Manamah, Bahrain, on 27th July 1969. The acclaimed artist found his calling when he was 15, his school teacher, Hamad Al-Hamad, is said to be among the first to have encouraged him to exercise his talents. Al-Hamad even helped write some of Al-Majed's first melodies. Over his three-decade-long career, Rashed Al-Majed gained an artistic influence that has contributed significantly to spreading Arabic music throughout the world. He has performed countless concerts in various countries in the Middle East, as well as Europe's most cosmopolitan cities. In addition to his musical prowess, the Middle Eastern superstar has proven to be a successful music producer, and currently owns a whopping 50% stake in Platinum Records with MBC Group.
